The commute that evening had been hell: malfunctioning train doors, a sick passenger, too many half-dead homeless to count. As Roger disembarked onto the platform he pondered how to tell his family that he had lost his job. That his family consisted of four pet chinchillas didn’t make matters any easier. Also, he had face cancer.
